Founded in January 2005, GCI was incorporated in the United States by a former Oracle Corporation employee. GCI is based out of Salt Lake City, Utah, a convenient location which enables GCI employees immediate access to Ogden ALC, while also being able to easily travel throughout the country.
The mission of GCI is to help its customers solve the most complex technology and staffing problems affecting operations. GCI provides cutting-edge solutions and outstanding A&AS support to government, commercial and institutional clients, including clients at Ogden ALC, Wright-Pat and Scott AFB. A key characteristic of the GCI business is that it has been built on customer satisfaction. Company growth has been largely due to repeat client engagements and to clients offering customer referrals.
GCI Milestones:
2007 August : GCI starts working on US AIr Force Contracts for Information Technology by bringing commercial best practices to the DoD environment.
2007 September: GCI awarded 8(a)
2008: GCI awarded GSA IT 70 Schedule
2009 January : GCI gets a US Navy Contract on Seaport-e as a prime contractor
2009: GCI diversifies in Medical, Logistics and Engineering Services areas of contracting with US federal government
2010: GCI Opens offices in Dayton, OH ; San Antonio, TX and Cheyenne, WY to better serve clients in military bases across the country
